Have you ever seen a kid’s toy and thought to yourself, ‘Man why couldn’t I have that when I was younger?’. Well that is what I was thinking when I came across this on my journey through the internet.
A Death Star that transforms into Darth Vader. Yeah let that sink in my friends. I could not believe it myself when I saw the pictures of it. Anyone who knows me know that I am a huge fan of both Transformers and Star Wars so this would have been the perfect toy for me.

When in robot mode the toy stands at 17.2 inches tall and bigger than any Transformer toy I had. It comes with a cape, three weapons including a giant lightsaber, three TIE fighter minicons, three mini figures (Vader and two storm troopers) and three AAA batteries. The batteries are for the lights and sounds that the toy makes mostly made up of Darth Vader lines from the movie. Nothing like having some good old James Earl Jones with your toy.
Now from what I have found in my research is that it is quite complicated to transform back and forth between its modes. One can see from a glance that it would not be easy to pick up on how he changes forms and the product description says it takes twenty five steps to transform it.
I get the feeling while it is a toy it is also for those hardcore fans or collectors to have on their shelf rather than to be played with and used to trample the smaller Autobot transformer toys. While being for ages five and up it might be too complex for a child to have actual fun with. More so the price they are commanding is quite high for just a child’s toy that might frustrate more than entertain.

Regardless it is still an awesome toy even if it is one that stays on a display shelf and I am pretty sure I would have been bugging my parents to buy me one if I was younger.
