Ubisoft released a brand new video for their upcoming title The Might Quest for epic Loot. Ubisoft's new game is a free to play PC-exclusive title and puts players in an outrageous medieval fantasy world where wealth, status and showboating are the name of the game. The Director's cut trailer sees Sir Painhammer take viewers behind the scene of the video that made him famous in what he calls "making a masterpiece".

Having nearly polished off the games I'm currently playing I'm looking ahead to a summer that has few BIG releases. The one I am looking forward to however is Saints Row IV which I implore the nation does not over look. Yes I understand GTA V is also fast approaching with a September release and you can argue that both games are very similar but I got to say I much prefer the larger than life style and entertainment of the Saints Row games.

Call of Duty have finally announced that the next DLC pack for Black Ops 2 is called Vengeance, it features 4 new multiplayer maps, a new zombie map and a bonus Zombies Ray Gun Mark II that will be available to use across all zombie maps upon release. Once again, instead of giving us 4 completely new multiplayer maps, one of the four is a re-imagined multiplayer 'classic'.

Now that E3 is well and truly over and I have totted up my top 10 games of the show, it is time to review what I thought would have been at E3 or what I wanted from E3 that wasn't there, at least anyway. I can't be too criticle of E3 as there were some surprise title announcements that I really enjoyed, Division and Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze to name a few but there were some titles that I really wanted to see, but were a no-show.

As with all four of the extra character DLC, rumours and speculation have been flying around as to who the final character will be, some with actual commendable backing where as others are merely fan requests that start turning in to demands. To quash all rumours and speculation, the final character for the Injustice Season Pass is General Zod, announced recently by NetherRealm Studios and later tweeted by Creative Director Ed Boon, that a gameplay video will be released next week.

Ubisoft are making big strides in to the film indsutry with adapatation of their popular game franchises, the latest of their projects that they want to be given the big screen treatment are Watch Dogs, Far Cry and oddly Rabbids. According to reports, Ubisoft's film division will "package" the three films together, to recruit screenwriters, directors and actors, but then pitch the projects to Hollywood studios independently.

Now that the dust has settled from the biggest gaming even of the year, we have had some solid information on games, their platform availability and release dates. The next-gen consoles will strive and / or plummet depending on several factors - their appeal, their pricing and perhaps most importantly their exclusive titles. Now, going in to E3 I did mention that the Playstation brand had some stronger exclusive titles and that I wanted to see some 'wow' factor Xbox exclusive to even the odds. To a certain degree Microsoft have pulled out some impressive exclusives, but are they enough to keep fans loyal to the Xbox brand?

Far too common a scenario in recent game releases, is the badgering of DLC and micro-transactions us gamers are hit with as soon as we fire up our already paid for game. I don't mind Season Passes for games as most the time they do offer an actual saving on purchasing each DLC separately, but even then the cost of a season pass is usually half the price of the game you just bought, if not a bit more, I have come to accept that gamers will not be getting much content for free these days. But micro transactions in my opinion are a complete joke, I personally think that these purchasable items should be given FREE to loyal and avid fans of a game, showing their dedication to the game with endless hours of gameplay or even be unlockable items for specific challenges.

The Metal Gear Solid franchise has always been orientated around the single player campaign and that is what I have loved about the developers, instead of giving us a slap-dash single player campaign and then concentrating on multiplayer because of future DLC, they have stayed true to their fan base and delivered exemplary single player campaign experiences. Perhaps Hideo Kojima thinks that it is about time for the MGS franchise to evolve, and this time around he has included a "vast" multiplayer experience. In a recent interview with CVG, Kojima gives us a bit more information regarding his plans for the MGS franchise.
